2. Pray for wisdom for Daisy, Caleb, and Micah as they have exams at school.

3. Give thanks that Osamu and Mairi are enjoying their stay in Scotland and have had opportunities to share about the work in Japan. Pray for continued protection as they travel around Scotland.

Prayer Points

1. Thank you for your prayers for this Sunday’s Easter service. It was wonderful to see the small church filled with people. Tsutsumi, Kikue, and her mother Ichie came, and the Sasaki family also joined us with their five children. The oldest, Mami, first got to know Daisy when we were living with my parents. Please pray for them.

2. Please pray for safe travels for my parents as they leave on Tuesday to fly to Scotland.

3. Give thanks that Naomi was able to share about Easter in her class at nursery. Pray for her as she prepares for the Easter event at her workplace this Friday.

4. Pray for the children as they settle back into school—that they may have understanding and patience as they study Japanese and adjust to all aspects of school life.

5. We are thankful that Matthew’s health has improved here. Pray that as he continues to settle in, God will give him clear guidance for the year ahead.

6 April 2026

Prayer Points

1. Pray that we will follow the Great Commission and share the gospel.

2. On Wednesday, Daisy, Caleb, and Micah start their new school-term. They will be going into P5, P4, and P3. Pray that they will be given strength and understanding to learn and cope with Japanese.

3. On Friday, Naomi’s workplace is holding an Easter event for the children. I am organizing the story time. Pray that I will find a way to share the true meaning of Easter in my talk, and that everything will go smoothly. Japanese people generally do not celebrate or understand Easter.

4. Pray for the family Easter service on Sunday. We have invited some of the children from our apartment, as well as the Kazumi and Sasaki families who came to the Christmas event last year.

5. Osamu and Mairi are scheduled to fly to Scotland on the 14th. Pray that everything will go according to plan.
