Dear Friends at Dingwall Church of Scotland,
I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your continued faithful support of £80 each month towards my work and ministry here in Bahrain.
Your generosity means so much to me. Your gifts are always so timely, and they make a real and tangible difference in enabling me to continue serving, ministering, and being present among the people here.
Because of your gift, I was able to send 50 BD (£100) to one of the lads from the labour-camp who is presently in hospital back home in Bangladesh. He has been struggling terribly with his health following a botched kidney operation in his home country. When I told him that the money had reached his bank account, he responded immediately. He was overwhelmed with gratitude and told me that he honestly did not know how his wife had managed to keep going financially over the past month. He asked me to please keep praying for him. Three months ago, he had asked for a Bible.
Thank you not only for this particular gift, but for your faithfulness, your friendship, your prayers, your encouragement and your heart for people. I honestly cannot tell you how much it means to me to know that you continue to stand with me after all these years.
Please know that your generosity is already bringing practical help, dignity, encouragement and, I pray, a little glimpse of God's love to people who desperately need it.
